Delay pocso case for consensual text based sexting before 1 year

I was a girl of 16 years old in 2024 sept 15 I did consensual Sexting only text based in Instagram with my bf 18+ that time with no photo video audio and broke up mutually in 15 January 2025. I have never met my bf in real life nor have his phone number.He blocked me since 18 Feb 2025 he never abused me all sexting was consensual and I am now 18+ can I do pocso case on him

Based on the facts stated, although any sexual communication with a minor (under 18) technically falls within the scope of the POCSO Act, text-only consensual chatting without any photos, videos, or coercion is very difficult to establish or sustain in a criminal proceeding. Since there was no abuse, threat, exploitation, or exchange of explicit media, and the interaction ended mutually, initiating a POCSO case at this stage would not be advisable. No simply you cannot. It's better that you have asked instead of filling a case against him and ruining his life. What's the reason for your POCSO case? He neither abused, nor touched as a matter of fact you don't even know him. I think you are a student I would strongly advise you to concentrate on studies.
