Defamation of character and threats to be done

A20 year old girl near my home......she was my friend..talked me for one month normally and proposed me..and said that she wanted to marry with me..i denied..so she said ok..let be friends only and said that she was joking..after one month..she again said that she wanted to marry with me..and i denied .then she said..I WILL HAVE TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF REJECTING HER PROPOSAL..and now she is spreading rumours in area that i talk to her..promise to marry her...and i have physical contact with her....EVEN I HAVE NEVER TOUCHED THE GIRLand never met her..alone.......SO i want to ask if she wanted to complain against me..in police...what would i do...even i have not talked to girl on phone ...kya use bhi koi proof dena padega apni khi hui baato ko sabit krne kaa..ya uska bolna hi kaafi hai....please..reply

ase cases mai ladkiyo ka bolna bhi Apke liye nuksan dayak hai ap sabse pahle iski shikayat ssp ko written mai likh kar recive karaye application advocate se hi type karaye uske baad ap apne near by police station mai ja kar uss ladki ke against fir karaye blackmail karne ke liye agar police nahi sunti hai to court se fir karaye

Sir, in response to your question it is adviced that in case a criminal complaint is filed by her you should be ready to file an anticipatory bail application. in such cases generally the burden to proof innocence falls on the accused person. you should keep all the information such as whatsapp and other messages with you which proves your innocence. you need not worry right now. regards
