Criminal Revision Petition Filled In Session Court

Criminal revision petition is filled. I am respondent and my sister was also respondent number 2. She had not attained court for objection and argument. Now petitioner informed judge to make her as ex- parte in court. What does ex-parte means how it impact her and me??
