In the cognizance order dated 05.05.2026, the Hon’ble Court recorded that a prima facie case was made out against A2 to A4 and further stated ‘complaint against A1 dismissed (POA)’. Respectfully seeks clarification regarding the meaning and scope of the abbreviation ‘POA’ used in the said order. complaint against A1. A1 was inspector a2-a4 was other accused husband and inlaws dismissed(POA). Service Pending_Summon 20-06 2026

poa means power of attorney for that who is power of attorney of any person that person needs to appear In the court matter and the person who has given his power to the attorney that person doesn't need to appear further in the case matter

As per your query it seems that Charges Against A1 have been dropped and there will be no proceeding against A1. Here POA stands for Process against accused , as the poa a1 is dismissed this could mean that the learned magistrate has reasons to believe that there is no sufficient evidence on record or it may not be appropriate to proceed further against accused no 1 as the case may be . now as far as the other co accused are concerned the learned magistrate has issued summons to them which means that there presence in the next hearing is necessary as the case will now proceed with the other co-accused . please share brief facts of the case so that to better understand you concern .
