Compromise in the case of attempt to murder

Can both the party sign on compromise letter and case will be over? If police have already arrested the person? Will he get bail after compromise letter
Hi..first you have to see what sections police are filed . Some of the sections under law are compoundable in nature you can compromise for that offence but attempt to murder is not compoundable and to compound you have to get permission from the court.
