Complaint regarding cheating..........

My father lived alone in Kolkata since 2017, I weekly talked to him, In March 2021 mid he got sick Gopal and Kamal, two people living there, they admitted to the hospital unfortunately my father died in hospital, These two people didn't give me any information about this. even they told to the hospital that they do not have any family, they took my father suitcase and all the stuff like debit card, credit card, cash, mobile phone,all original documents so please tell what legal action can i take
Without wasting any time you need to inform about the incident to the local police station ( local police station is the one which falls under the jurisdiction of your father's residence) and lodge a complaint with a request to institute a First Information Report, in the complaint youist mention the date and time of incident, names of the miscreants, the details of the articles stolen.

If you have all the details of the accused persons then you can start by serving a legal notice upon them to return the movable properties of your father. in case they do not oblige then you can file a fir for criminal misappropriation, criminal breach of trust if the facts are so.
