Get a lawyer now. Pick a criminal/civil defence lawyer in your jurisdiction — they can appear for you, file applications, and (usually) limit how often you must appear personally. If cost is an issue, contact your local legal aid clinic or bar association for free/low‑cost help. Obtain copies of the complaint/FIR and case number. If you don’t already have them, ask police/court or have your lawyer get certified copies immediately. Do not delete or alter any evidence. Preserve phone logs, messages, CCTV, photos, documents, bank statements, GPS, witness contact details.

If the case/ allegation brought against you is totally false, and if there is a any clear evidence regarding this matter that the case is just to harrass you, then you can approach before the court praying for your discharge, and it not mandatory for you to be appeared in court everytime.

If a false case has been filed against you, avoiding the matter by not appearing in court is not advisable. The only legitimate and safe way is to appear in court and present a proper defense on your behalf. You can take necessary steps such as applying for bail, seeking dismissal of the case, or proving your innocence through an experienced criminal lawyer. Ignoring court orders may result in the issuance of an arrest warrant, which could lead to further complications in the future. Therefore, for the sake of your reputation and safety, resolve the matter peacefully through the legal process.
