Child abuse, evidence destruction & retaliation in Patashala

21-May-2026 (In Criminal Law)
Minor son suffered severe corporal punishment, deprivation of water/restroom at a residential Patashala. Management ignored written complaints, isolated and humiliated the child, and destroyed CCTV evidence after formal preservation notice. Whistleblower parents faced retaliatory academic expulsion, barring the child from exams. We hold authorized backup CCTV footage from 2025-26 proving systemic multi-staff abuse. Need urgent counsel to approach Tenkasi CWC, DCPU, and file police FIR.

The allegations disclosed are serious in nature and may attract offences relating to cruelty to child, wrongful confinement, criminal intimidation, destruction of evidence and offences under the Juvenile Justice Act. Immediately preserve all electronic evidence including CCTV backup, emails, notices, medical records and communication with management. Approach the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and Superintendent of Police with a detailed written complaint seeking immediate protection and registration of FIR. Since there is allegation of destruction of CCTV evidence after notice, prompt legal action is important. You may also seek direction before the jurisdictional High Court if police fail to act. The matter appears legally substantial if supported by records and footage.
