Charges framed by step brother of making a legal heir false affidavit

From birth I did not know of any other relationship of my father. After his death, I swore in an affidavit claiming myself to be the legal heir in 2007. In Dec'2015, one , claimed to be my step-brother, filed a criminal case, declaring the said affidavit as false, under Sec.420. I have ration card where there is no mention of his name. My father's other I.Cards do not bear his name. Is this criminal?
he may be son of your father,but it appears that your mother is a legally wedded wife of your father.you have sworn an affidavit with your best belief that you are the only son. now,even the circumstances denies it,same will not fall under the purview of section 420.
