Case under ipc section 336 due to jump divider at time vip route line

Sir i want to knw that police has lodged a fir against me under section 336
I m in govt service nd preparing for RAS exam also.
if i confess and got punished only by fine will this affect my job and police verification in case of my selection in ras.
Please guide me .
if you confess it will create your criminal record but these kind of offences are petty offences in many cases if a person having hurdle in getting government job then in writ jurisdiction the High Court can direct the department as well as police verification to not to take legal action against that person
