Case registered against me under section 408, 420 and 34

02-Jun-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I was working (on fixed salary) with a Real estate Broking company who had a mandate to sell a builders property in Thane district. He has not paid me my salary for 4 months and has now threatened me that he will file a case against me (FIR) stating that I have taken money from clients in cash without his knowledge to sell the property. I was in no way the deciding factor in price negotiation and the developer would receive the cheque amount and register the property whilst the real estate company would keep the cash. Since the agent was not the owner of the property, can he still file a case against me under section 408 or 420? I have proof that the money was delivered to the agent.

you need to first consider this as an urgent matter and immediately approach the police/court for non payment of salary. this will act as a background story and would help you immeasurably if in the future your employer registers an FIR against you for the reasons you have mentioned above. once you have a story ready, it would be easy for you to get anticipatory bail if it comes to that
