Case of electricity theft by the electricity board

I have connected 60 watt bulb in underconstructed house from my old house. Both the houses are on same plot. The electricity department made the case of direct theft. They charged for a period of 1 yr bt the house is constructed 5 months back only. Can you suggest legal action plz?
As per your version you have connected 60 watt bulb in underconstructed house from yout old house. Both the houses are on same plot. The electricity department made the case of direct theft. Whether the electricity department lodged FIR with the local police or not ? If not than you can file Complaint before the Districts Consumer Redress Forum.
