Can police take under custody while apply for regular bail.

Is it possible that a person is on anticipatory bail and presenting at the police station also trying to get regular bail can go to custody

If person is on anticipatory then there is no need of regular bail in same case. Provided no new sections are added to the chargesheet where bail has to be taken.
Otherwise if two different cases. Then, if person on anticipatory bail and is required in other offence he has to opt for anticipatory bail if not arrested and regular bail in case he is arrested

once a person is granted anticpatory bail only sureties have to be furnished. the law is clear anticipatory bail encompasses protection from detention from the period of sureties being furnished upto completion of trial before the competent court. the bonds may be changed time to time. custody is differently worded from detention. detention in jail is not permissible after anticipatory bail. no regular bail required after the anticipatory bail granted.
