yes, the police is at liberty to arrest some one without arrest warrants but it really depends upon the nature of the offence. In your case, the police may come to raid your house if the relatives and parents of the girl have complained against you that you abducted the girl and committing some crimes. The girl with you at your home with your consent and her consent does not amount to any offence as mentioned in the books. The police wont be able to do anything against you if the girl says and claims strongly that you both are living in live-in relationship.
