Can my ex wife file a defamation suit for saying the truth to her

Hi everyone, I was in 6 year long term relationship and it broke and he went to marry the girl of his parents choice. I'm planning to file a complaint. But I also wanted to talk to his wife in person/call and explain her the whole story of my version because I feel she deserves to know the truth. I even tried to talk to her family before marriage and told them everything, but still they went ahead with marriage. Can his wife file a defamation case against me or take any legal actions against me

If your ex deceived you with a false promise of marriage, you can file a case for cheating (IPC 415 & 417). If he had sexual relations with you under this false pretense, it may amount to rape (IPC 375 & 90). Courts consider consent invalid if obtained through deception. Instead of confronting his wife, filing a police complaint with evidence (texts, witnesses, etc.) is a stronger legal approach. However, if you contact her, she may take action against you for defamation (IPC 499 & 500) or harassment (IPC 503 & 506). Consulting a lawyer is advisable.
