Can I get job while criminal case is pending

Hello sir, unfortunately I involved in criminal case under IPC 447, 506, 34. Fir filed in 2015. I'm À4. Case is in summons stage. Opponent mentioned in charge sheet that they damaged his wall, so he lost 10k rupees worth of property. Now I selected for govt job. Will this case effects my joining? Opponent won't compromise?
It depends upon the eligibility criterion for the concerned department. When a criminal case is pending, it is not conviction. It may turn out to be case of discharge / quashing etc. But, if the rules specifically state that even pendency is a bar, then there may be a difficulty.
