Can I file a rape case against boyfriend who turns out to be a cheat

Is it possible for my relative to file a rape case against her boyfriend after 4 years because when before four years he enticed her for marriage and had sex with her at the time she was 15 only but now after 4 years he turns out to be a cheat and leaves her alone can she file a rape case on him she was also beaten and harrased during those years by him but still she managed be in relationship with him but finally with no reason he left her .
