Can I file a case after 7 years

I was hit on the head very hard multiple times by a person with his hands. I had filed a complaint at the police station that time and he was called and warned.But now after 7 years I have been diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disorder which is a life threatening condition. And his hitting me may be one of the reasons as head and brain trauma can cause this problem. Can I file a case against him after 7 years. This disease may lead to my death also in a few years.Please do let me know if I can file a case.Thanks

you can file a court case before cjm court 156(3) crpc thereafter treat as a fir as your concern police station thereafter police can arrested to this person/ you can file complain after 7 years latter
