Can I do job in abroad with a pending criminal case?

03-Apr-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Someone has accused me of a false attempt to murder case by falsifying every fact and now there is an FIR and a case is going on in district court. I have got bail and submitted that to the police station but not sure if there is any condition attached or not. I wish to go abroad and start my job. What should I do? The person has filed this just to harass me as he used to give me money willingly and now once I got out of the relationship, he is angry and asking me to return the money. What should I do?

find out if any conditional bail has been granted to you and if yes then is there any restriction regarding appearance before the IO. find out from your lawyer if chargesheet has been filed or not. accordingly you can make an application before the concerned court by your lawyer to grant you permission to travel abroad.

You should attend the trial because you are in Bail and still not acquitted. You are not suppose to leave India until the case is dismissed or disposed. At the same time if you are acquitted, you may sue the other person for malicious prosecution and claim compensation.
