Can getting arrested affect chances of getting a govt. job in future?

14-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I had filed an FIR in 2014 against two accused who brutally beaten my brother on the same day. Since then i went to court for more than 10 times till now but still my statement hasn,t been recorded yet due to non-availability of original ncr. An nbw was issued against me and i got it cleared on saying that being a student a can,t attent the court all the time. My question is if at that time or in future an nbw issued against me and it does not cancelled which means i will be put in a jail for some days, so would it discard me from getting a central or state government job. Please reply this query.

In case you are arrested you, such kind of arrest have no bar to be considered for a government job. You only can be prohibited if you have been convicted for an offence by the court. You are witness in this case if your present is required by the court kindly try to be there to avoid any unnecessary problem.
