Can defeated complainant apply for appeal against acquittal himself

02-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
I have won a false case u/s 420 in lower court, this case was totally groundless and enquiry was not done properly by the police. I want to ask what are steps which can be taken by Public Prosecutor in this acquittal? Is it possible for defeated complainant to appeal in session court himself/without consent of Public prosecutor? Thanks in advance
