Want to know defamation case information against false Rape case
You can proceed for defamation case only after your acquittal. After acquittal you can even file an application under s. 482 CrPC, praying the court which acquitted you, for taking action against the prosecuteix for giving false evidence, if the materials on record are sufficient to prove this.

Yes a defamation can be file but whether the aspect of defamation was evolved during the course of the trial has to be seen whether the Learned Trial Judge has opined to that aspect or not has to be seen !!!
