CAN A PERSON APPLY FOR A GOVERNMENT JOB AFTER COMPLETION OF PUNISHMENT

SUPPOSE A MAN HAS DONE A CRIME AND IS HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR IT AND JUDGE GIVES A PUNISHMENT OF 3 MONTHS IN PRISON.THE MAN DOES REMAIN IN JAIL FOR 3 MONTHS.MY QUESTION IS AFTER THE COMPLETION OF HIS PUNISHMENT IS THE PERSON ACQUITTED MEANS CAN NOW THE MAN CAN APPLY FOR A GOVERNMENT JOB.

Absolutely a Government job may be applied even after suffering the sentence; positively you shall have to disclose about the criminal proceeding while filing up your application form or PVR form. Naturally if the offence for which you were convicted and sentenced is not something involving moral turpitude, you should not be denied with employment, Our Calcutta High Court has plenty judgments on that and may of my clients got relief this way.
