Breach of promise for marriage after 1.6 years he is absconding

We were in a relationship since 1.6 years, during which we consummated Our relationship physically as well after he proposed me marriage. Now his mother has confiscated his phone as she says he is Not well and threatens me that if I call him she will lodge a complaint of harassment I told her we were to be married with ur consent n she was aware of the same as he had presented the same to his parents. Now his phone is off and he refuses to contact me, she called my mum n threatening them to refrain me from calling. I have all the history of chat messages where we have exchanged since almost an year. What am I supposed to do now. Helpless and disrespected in every way.
