Birth certificate forgery complaint

Sir, my office colleague's parents have obtained his birth certificate by giving false dob. He took several benefits from the birth certificate such as 2 govt jobs, passport and travelled abroad, driving license, Aadhar card,PAN card, matriculation certificate, marriage certificate. Somebody has complained against him in office, is he in legal trouble?
yes he is in legal trouble since forging a government security is a serious offence and attracts a punishment of up to life imprisonment under section 467 of the Indian penal code. you are advised to seek legal opinion in the matter as to how to proceed further in the matter.
