Bail application under section 379 IPC

After arrest under section 379 IPC., in how many days I should file a bail application before court ?
Sir,
some will say wait for 7 days or 20 days. but in reality there is nothing like how many days bail has to be filed. bail under section 437 of Cr.p.c can be filed before magistrate when person is ordered for judicial custody.
