Backdoor jobs fraud cheating by taking money

I gave money to a person who told me that he can provide backdoor job in a mnc company. But he cheated me by not providing job and also not giving my money back. This happened 2 years ago. Can i file a case now and I also want to know that backdoor jobs are real or fake?

criminal complaint under 420ipc should have been filed within 12 months from date of you making payment. you can file a money recovery suit within 3years from date of payment. also if you have done bank transfer, you can claim interest also
