Upon perusal of the facts presented, it appears that a matter filed before the Hon’ble High Court, Lucknow Bench, was listed for hearing over a year ago. Since then, no next date has been reflected in the case status, and the matter has remained unheard. In such circumstances, it is evident that the case has either not been automatically listed due to administrative reason or may be pending before owing to procedural defect or irregularities. To address the issue effectively, it is advisable to file an appropriate application before the Registrar or the concerned administrative authority of the High Court. The said application should seek early listing of the matter and bring to the notice of the Registrar that the case has remained unlisted for an inordinate period despite pendency. The applications should be supported by relevant details, including the case number, date of listing, date of hearing, and brief background indicating the urgency or the need for early adjudication. After filling, a follow up with the registry. This is the proper course that should be taken by you rather than filling RTI, as that will not resolve your issue.
