Advice in following the status of case on the portal.

I am working in Kuwait. My father was attacked by three youngsters over the dispute of compound wall at my native place. An FIR was registered on 30 Jan 2013. Later my father expired on 25 Apr 2013 due to mental trauma.When I checked the status of case and FIR on the portal. FIR Status says Trial is Pending. But case status shows 'no record found'. Please advise to follow up the case and get the justice done.

The person who posted the above question has not mentioned about the limit of police station, district which are essential in this case. However a petition under sec 492 of Cr.PC may be filed before the High Court of the State, to the police to take immediate action.

You can enquire with the police regarding the FIR. Since your father died, the FIR should have been altered by the police and invoke murder provision namely 302 of IPC. Visit the police station and enquire they are bound to answer it.
