About consequences of Ipc 279 case on my future..............

Today i drive my bike slowly on wrong side.. i caught by police and filed FIR under IPC 279 against me..
Does these case always blot on me?? Will it affect my career? ?
Yes it will effect your career (Govt. Jobs), as this a serious offence, your passport and visa applications will also be affected by this, as the punishment is 6 months, I would suggest you challenge the FIR in court and try to convince court to acquit you.
