A friend of mine bailed a man 2days back from jail. A night before the man died due ti overdose of drugs. When he got bailed I used to go with my friend. Does this mean that police will file a case against me too?

Once person died then all the cases related to him will automatically closed by the police.
So you need not to worry at all.
Mere going with a criminal person did not make you criminal. but might be police watch you.

Sir, there are two things. First what is the inquest report u/s 174 proceedings undertaken by police would say. Second Whether family of deceased lodge any complaint with police and if yes, whom they named. Third, Were u present with him when he died? If yes, What role did you play at that time. Rest you could take proper advice only if you would reveal the whole truth. Consult a lawyer personally.
