A circle inspector gave a wrong statement regarding me and my life

Can I file a case against him for giving a wrong statement against me and my character from which I got mentally disturbed and I am about to commit a suicide for the thing which he did to me !

yes what report he made on you and your character??? yes you can file a case in human rights and can bring his activities which are hurting others (public),no body is above the law you should be date enough to file a case

Yes, you can file criminal deformation to get punishment from him, and also you can civil defamation case get componseation. And you can file both case simultaneously. You have two options either you can file single case or you can file both case and also you need evidence
