498a complaint filed in court. can it be quashed on jurisdiction

hi. i am accused here. My wife filed 498a based on a private application in court. Incidences are based in different city while case is registered in different city. Can i go for quashing of complaint on the basis of Jurisdiction. Its a complaint not FIR.

for quashing of FIR you need to file a petition before the high court of your state. you can file the petition under article 226 of the constitution of india read with section 482 of the criminal procedure code . the high court has inherent powers under these provisions of law
