A woman had lodged a complaint against her ex-boyfriend under sections 376, 354, 354c, 417, 323, 506. She doesn't want to pursue the case and wants to move ahead in life. What statement is she supposed to give under section 164 CrPC? And is it mandatory to record the statement under 164?

Police themselves record further statements and close the case by filing B report that is closure report. If charge sheet is filed then 482 quashing petition to be filed before High Court along with affidavit of the girl.
