Women employee threatening to file false case in women cell what to do

A friend of mine got into a verbal argument with our colleague.. Over a wrong procedure that she was doing.. In turn my friend raised his voice and the girl also did the same.. It happened in presence of three people.. No abuse or touching was there.. Now the girl threatened to file in women cell.. And defame him.. Also that she would write a letter to dm and university for cancelling his degree under the act of harrasment.. Its been 15 days now.. Can she really make out a false case out of this?
well you can not stop anyone from filing any case against anyone. But we have to make the court believing that the complaint is false and needs no action. false case should be proved by us. we are the agreived and therefore you also can file a complaint before the authorities and if she files the complaint lateron, against you, that shall be treated as false and as a counter blast on you.
