Want to register for RERA and Currently working in IT company

I work in a Private company which is in IT consulting and has non- compete as "During the term of your employment or these Terms of Employment, you will not, directly or indirectly, either alone or jointly with or as manager, agent, consultant or employee of any person, firm or company, engage yourself in any activity or business which could result in direct or indirect competition with the business of the Company"nnCan I still become RERA registered agent to start my work in real estate?

While there would not be an issue with being a RERA registered agent according to the wording of this clause, you may have to examine whether the contract stipulates the role as a full time role.
In the case it does, the company may object to you having a secondary business. In case it does not, pursuing another independent business venture is not likely to be an issue.

However, it may be beneficial to confirm with someone in the organisation how the leadership may perceive such an endeavour before proceeding.
