What is the Stamp Duty on Franchise Agreements in 2021? i heard Rs.100/- stamp paper is not valid for Franchisee Agreement, is it correct?
yes...it is correct that 100 INR stamp paper is not valid.. minimum stamp duty is 500 is applicable on any type of agreement in India. However, for Franchise agreement , the stamp duty is calculated as per Bombay stamp act considering the royalty and/or fees and/or amount and/or transaction amount mutually decided by the parties in the agreement.
