Low quality goods delivered I refused to pay received notice

22-Apr-2023 (In Corporate Law)

I am a regular importer of machines from china. One of my supplier sent me low quality goods to me which does not meet our standards and discussion. I even complained them for it. Despite repeated complaint they did not give any solution to it. I am old importer so i get 30 days credit, in this deal too i had to pay 30% advance and the rest was on credit for 30 days. Now when the payment is due they started asking for payment, i refused because i was cheated. Today i received a notice from a law firm demanding 52000$ which was due with 18% interest on it within 30 days or they will go court

You will have to reply to the notice stating that the goods was of bad quality and therefore you refused.

You will also have to see the terms and conditions of the contract. In case of bad quality then what is the remedy.

Dear sir,
firstly reply the legal notice in proper manner and set out gist of your complaints in notice and offer to return the machinery and also ask for 30% advance payment with interest and cost and damages.
