Legality share on wife's benefit after her death but mother is nominee

We are married 6 months ago and my Spouse expired 1 month ago due to illness, She was hospitalized for almost 25 days and expired in hospital. Can I ask her working company to give her all benefits to me because she has mentioned her mother as nominee 3yrs back when she joined office. Can I still get those benefits legally though she has mentioned her mother as nominee..?
regarding the movable properties section 374 and 376 applies and as per that you can proceed in court of law for declaration under section 14 of the hindu succession act as you are the class 1 heir but as per section 376 of indian succession act her mother entitles for collections
