You have legal possession: If you have a valid registered lease/rent agreement, you are in legal possession of the property as a tenant or licensee for the term mentioned in the contract. Third party (daughter) has no authority: Unless the daughter is the legal owner or has power of attorney, she has no legal standing to interfere. Only the landlord (owner) or someone legally authorized can demand anything. You cannot be evicted arbitrarily: Under tenancy laws, a tenant can only be evicted by due process of law, typically through a court order, not by threats or pressure. Misbehavior/Harassment is illegal: If the daughter is harassing or threatening you, it's a criminal offense. You can file a police complaint. Send a Legal Notice: Engage a lawyer to send a legal notice to the daughter (and landlord, if needed), warning against unlawful interference and harassment. Assert your legal right to possession under the signed deed. File Police Complaint (if needed): If there is verbal abuse, threats, or trespass, go to the local police station and file a complaint. Approach Civil Court for Injunction: File a civil suit for injunction to restrain the daughter from interfering with your peaceful possession. You can request temporary injunction (Order 39 Rule 1 & 2 CPC).
