Cheating Deposit amount of Rs 30000/-

I am staying in mumbai.Three month ago "Ojas Earth company" Indor MP,advertised of Distribution buisness opportunity. According to company they said every product will get 20% margins So you have to deposit of amount 30000/- it is refundable. We had agreement signed. Since 3 months gone no buisness deal no commission got.Company owner doesn't respond. I called up many times. What to do how I can recover the amount. police told it's civil matter go to court. How I can go for 30000/- recovery.
Send a legal notice for refund. If you have agreement and payment proof, file a recovery suit. If false promises induced payment, also lodge a cheating complaint. Preserve all records as per the concerned provisions of law.

this is technically a cheating matter but you'll have to prove intent first. send them a legal notice saying you're finling criminal proceedings and get them to talk. if they dont respond, nothing stopping you from initiating criminal proceedings
