Want to know agreement required for youtube channel video uploads

10-Dec-2023 (In Trademark & Copyright Law)
I have a very very small and tiny company and I have sub contractors who upload educational videos to my youtube channel for payment. I pay them immediately after upload. What kind of agreement should I sign with my sub contractors so that all videos become property of my company and the sub contractor transfers all rights including resell rights of the video to our company ? and the sub contractor is prohibited from uploading the same video to any online services ? Is there a format available for such an agreement ? what is the legal name for such an agreement in india?

As the owner of a company you are engaging sub contractors to upload videos on your channel . You are not telling whether they are outsourcing or directly making it for you . Each video is the creation of that person who makes it and he has creative rights over it. When you enter into an agreement this aspect should be taken into account.

I suggest you get an agreement drafted by a qualified advocate so that it can meet your requirements. Make sure to have a non-compete, non-disclosure, and indemnification clauses in the agreement. Thanks
