Using Information from other websites like amazon flipkart etc.

Is it legal to use information from sites like amazon.in, flipkart.com etc for the product catalogue (Name, Price, Image, product description)? That information will be used it in building catalogue for a e-commerce website of a company. If it is not legal. What could be the charges? and Is there any alternative if it is being practiced for the past one year?
Yes. Normally you can do use such product information, provided you have signed an affiliate contract with the source site. Getting access and right to use their data feeds.
The target link decides your right. As long as the target link ends up to the original website, which feeds data, does not amount to violation.
If you just copy information and use for own target links may amount to violation.
As such, the original proprietor of the product photos would also take it as violation.
If your website contains such unauthorised use of data feeds, data copy, your website achieved good ranking, then the original owner may send you legal notice and further proceedings for domain related dispute.

It depends on what kind of information you are using from those websites. Usual Terms and Conditions of the websites restrict such usage but if you are using the details of the product then it cannot be termed as infringement as the products are in the market and you are also selling the same through legal means. But it will infringe the rights of the website owner when you just copy the complete contents and reproduce. Hope this clarify.
