Using copyrighted images for commercial use
15-Mar-2023 (In Trademark & Copyright Law)
I am considering writing a city guidebook using locations from a famous property-based board game. I have two questions; Is the name protected? (It is a common word in everyday use meaning "exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.") Secondly, could I use images of that board and/or images of the equipment used to play the game in the text and on the cover of my books? There would be nothing derogatory in my use of the name or images - indeed, my use would arguably provide some free advertising for the manufacturer of the board game.
pls give me more details like name of board game ....what kind of images etc...this is very less information you have provided.
therefore to avoid hypothetical answer you need to tell more details. you can contact me
