Now when I went to apply for drug license for the same the officer there raised objection to the name and said that if applied with the said name he will seek an opninion from the legal cell. I have found the name catchy and see no problem in it. Is there any legal issue in getting the name passed from drugs deparment. Please advice. Cause I donot want to get into unnscessary delay and rejectio

Dear Querist,

It is an established law in India that a trademark cannot be claimed on common, descriptive English words.

Therefore, in my opinion, you should avoid choosing such names for your shop in order to stay out of unnecessary hassles.
