Dear Concerned,

You have raised a very interesting question. However, a logo flows from a trademark only and the name is thus important. There is no search engine exclusively for logos.
However, you can get an application made to the Registrar for the said purpose which requires certain preparations.

According to Section 2 (zb) of the Trade Marks Act, 1999, “trade mark means a mark capable of being represented graphically and which is capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one person from those of others and may include shape of goods, their packaging and combination of colours.” A mark can include a device, brand, heading, label, ticket, name, signature, word, letter, numeral, shape of goods, packaging or combination of colors or any such combinations.

The logo can be checked the same way we search a word mark. You can log onto and perform a word mark search by entering the class and description of goods and services. It will show any registered , pending and objected similar or identical marks along with their logo (if any) .
