Clarification about legitimacy of web scraping

I have looked at whether scraping websites is legal. But I am confused. So specifically, I want to scrape recipes from websites and use the ingredients for easy recipe searching (this includes storing ingredients in my database). Based on that, I will generate links to original recipes. Is doing this legal?
You will need to elaborate your question more. If you are going to obtain permission from the respective websites then it's legal. Also receipies will be subject to infringement of patent held by other inventors. Please be alert and perform your activities diligently.
