Unclear rules mentioned in grt golden eleven scheme
01-Aug-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
Sir/mam, this is kavipriya from Kumbakonam. I have registered a grt golden eleven scheme for 11 months. Due to some personal situations I have discontinued it by 5th month and was about to take gold jewellery now. The grt gold eleven has the scheme of either amount based or accumulated weight based option and the benefits are no wastage. Now they are telling me even you can't take accumulated weight option since it is before maturity period. But now my claim is it is nowhere mentioned in the brochure that accumulated weight is not allowed if you take it before the maturity period. When I am asking them for it , they are mentioning the phrase of no additional benefits before the maturity period. I am saying now , first of all accumulated weight is not a benefit, that is my right as I have every month due and registered some gold at that day and moreover if you really think it as a benefit why dint you mention it clearly that accumulated weight is also one among the benefits

In this case, You can file a complaint against them in consumer forum since you have not availed the facility and hence you are entitled to get a benefit. You can first send them a legal notice and see how they respond to it to decide further course of action. I have a vast practice in that area you can seek my assistance in your matter.
