Is college has rights to make bond with student to not leave college?

I went in a college after merit list because of some leaving certificate issue & asked for admission for B.Sc-CS so I got answer that "you will get admission but you have do bond with college that you can't leave collge for 3 years" Is it legal?

dear client, such kind of bond asking a student for three year commitment is totally illegal. from your query it is not clear if your college is funding your studies? in case the college management is providing you free education they may ask for such bond otherwise it is totally illegal. you have every right to pursue education in college of your choice.
