What to do when construction activity beside house creates nuisance?

there is ongoing apartment construction beside my house. the builder brings heavy jcb cranes and performs the work during night time causing sleepless nights. how can i get rid of this problem?
i understand your concern, in the first place, write a formal letter to the builder to stop construction through register post with ack due, between 6 pm to 10 am, then file a complaint at the jurisdictional police station against the builder, in case if police does not oblige, then writ petition has to be filed before the High Court for stay on construction

better you can complain the matter to the nearest police station where you can get response from there, you have to give a return complain and take acknowledgement from the police station there your problem can be solved and otherwise you can consult with an advocate.

you can apply for injunction and if the sound decimals increased the the prospect ratio which can be an offence and public nusience under the environmental law and you can complain with the local police station under the enviornmental law
